Hoboken Southwest Parks Coalition Unveils SW6: A Greener, Greater Hoboken

On September 19, the Hoboken Southwest Parks Coalition will unveil its innovative and comprehensive plan “SW6: A Greener, Greater Hoboken.”

This visionary plan includes six acres of contiguous street level open space. It also addresses the city’s serious flooding problem by proposing a unique component for improving infrastructure and flood mitigation.

Hoboken Southwest Parks Coalition President, Sara Stojkovic said, “In creating this plan, we address serious issues including the lack of open space and flooding in the 4th Ward. It is a comprehensive plan to benefit all of the residents of Hoboken. We look forward to working with members of the City Council to see SW6 to completion.”

Stojkovic and members of the HSPC advisory board will present the plan at the meeting of the City Council on the evening of September 19th. The plan will also be available at www.hobokenspc.org

Hoboken Southwest Parks Coalition was founded in December 2004 as a citizens group dedicated to acquiring open space for future generations.
